INTRAVENOUS ANTIBIOTIC TREATMENTS
Common diagnoses treated in our infusion center by antibiotics include Pyelonephritis, Prostatitis, Osteomyelitis, Endocarditis, Cellulitis, MRSA and soft tissue and skin infections. Our infusion center is intended to reduce patient's length of hospital stay and recovery under physician supervised care.
Concerned about medication dosage and ease of administering at home?
Our center is able to provide service for patients needing to be infused on one or multiple drugs. This is critical since antibiotic drug frequency will vary. Based on the severity of the infection, antibiotics may be required every 6, 8, 12 or 24 hours.Whether the course is 3 days, 6 weeks or every month, the patient and referring physician is always our first priority. Most antibiotics are administered through a portable pump system which allows patients to carryout their normal everyday routines without any restrictions.
What Are The Benefits of Our OIC to the Patient & Physician?
Our highly skilled clinical team is specifically trained to manage all aspects of IV therapy and is on-call 24/7 for patient-related concerns.
Physicians treating the patient have weekly updates on the patient’s condition and can make instant changes to therapy if patient is non-responsive.
